Description: NASA astronauts will one day need buildings to protect them from cold temperatures on the moon. Students can lay the foundation for those buildings with this activity from PBS's "Design Squad." It asks kids to create a solar hot water heater with aluminum foil, plastic tubing, a lamp, and a few other common items.
