These tutorials for Microsoft's Office 2007 are designed to help pre-service and in-service teachers learn the set of applications included in Microsoft Office 2007. Bernie also has sets of tutorials for Office 2000, Office XP, and Office 2003.

The tutorials, with skill consolidation exercises, are designed to teach Word (including mail merge), Excel (including graphing and charting and Lookup Tables), Access (including searching, sorting, and reporting), and PowerPoint in the context of the K-12 classroom.  They also include a lesson on the Office 2007 drawing and diagramming tools.

This book is available for download free of charge.  You will need a copy of the several work files that accompany the on-line version of the text.  Write to Bernie Poole at poole@pitt.edu and he will send you these work files by return as a zipped attachment in e-mail.  Please give him an email address that will not block emails that contain attachments.

You may not sell this book for profit.  However, you may, in the context of a College course, print as many copies as are needed and sell them either at cost to the students or, any profit made on the books MUST be used in some way that promotes the use of technology in education.  If you intend to make multiple copies of the book, please be sure to print the entire contents of the book, including the Front Matter as published on the web.  Any attempt to profit financially from our work, other than as stated above, would be a direct infringement of the copyright.

If you are a professor in a School of Education or a Director of Technology in a School District or system, please feel free to use the book with your teachers or students.  There is no limit on the number of copies you may make, provided you comply with the conditions outlined above.
