April Activties Abound!

April fools, April showers, April in Paris, "April is the cruellest month ..." It's National Poetry Month too, which focuses this year on the 100th anniversary of the birth of Langston Hughes. In April, Americans will also observe Math Awareness Month and National Kite Month. On April 22, 2002, people around the world will celebrate the 32nd Earth Day. This year's theme is Protect Our Home.

Bitten by the spring cleaning bug, Education World editors have been sorting through the archives, looking for lessons related to poetry, math, Earth Day, libraries, and kites. Scroll through the resources or click a topic to go directly to the specific resource you're looking for!
