"The most important thing to me about Book Bowl was that we came in first in our local competition and fourth in the city-wide finals. I liked reading all those exciting books. I would really love to do it again. We learned about evil villains, people, and animals. It was a lot of fun."

"I thought that Book Bowl would be boring because I was the only boy (on our team). Some of the books were pretty good, such as The Million Dollar Shot and Jeremy Thatcher Dragon Hatcher. The illustrations also gave me some ideas of my own. (I was glad to hear) my mom said that she is proud of me."

"I participated in Book Bowl because I love to read. I enjoy reading all different kinds of books, including mystery, animal fiction, etc. I like why and how you do Book Bowl. It's fun and educational for all ages. I think they should start a mini Book Bowl to help (younger) kids learn to read and make it fun. I really enjoyed Book Bowl this year and will probably do it next year. I had fun!"
