The School for Field Studies
Study in some of the most beautiful and threatened ecosystems in the world while earning college credit for participating in real-life field studies of challenging environmental dilemmas. SFS offers Fall and Spring semester and 30 day Summer courses for highschool and college students at field study centers in Australia, British Columbia, the British West Indies, Costa Rica, Baja, Mexico and Kenya.

Center for Cultural Interchange (CCI)

School Year Abroad is the only secondary level school in which American students live for a full year in a European or Chinese family, while earning US graduation credits and receiving rigorous preparation for top US colleges and universities.

Learning Programs International

This is the Web site for the Job Corps program. The site includes a lot of resources for the School-To-Work (STW) initiative (this movement seeks to develop a national framework and provide capital for states to design systems to help young people make the transition from school to careers and lifelong learning). NASA Jobs
There are two government wide Student Educational Employment Programs (SEEP). They are the Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP) and the Student Career Experience Program (SCEP). The main difference between the two programs is that STEP is solely a temporary employment program whereas the other is an ongoing Cooperative Education Program (COOP) that may lead to permanent NASA employment.

NASA Summer Employment...
Summer job opportunities are available with NASA at all nine of its Centers located throughout the United States and cover a wide variety of positions. These positions begin approximately mid-May and end September 30th. Applications are typically accepted from December through April 15th. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and qualify for a position based on work experience and/or education.

Summer High School Apprenticeship Research Program - SHARP
The Summer High School Apprenticeship Research Program (SHARP) is conducted at eleven participating NASA Field Installations throughout the United States. Participants must live within 50 miles of a NASA installation. A stipend is given.

NASA Sharp Plus
This program is similar to the SHARP program above, but takes place on University campuses around the country, expenses are paid, plus a stipend.
