Denise Donica
KHSc, OTR/L, BCP, FAOTA

Denise Donica completed her Doctor of Health Science and Master of Health Science in occupational therapy at the University of Indianapolis in 2007 and 2005, respectively. She also holds a bachelor of science degree in psychology/criminal justice and occupational therapy from Indiana University. Dr. Donica is an Associate Professor in the Occupational Therapy Department at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Dr. Donica’s focus in clinical practice has been with the pediatric population through school system and outpatient practice. She has been using the Handwriting Without Tears® curriculum for over 15 years and is a Level 1 certified handwriting specialist with the program. She has conducted and published research related to student success and handwriting skills, and she has also presented nationally and internationally on handwriting-related research and keyboarding skills.


Keith Kline
OTR/L

Keith R. Kline received his bachelor of science degree in occupational therapy from Quinninpiac College in Hamden, Connecticut. He has been practicing pediatric occupational therapy in a school setting since September 1999. He currently works with all students—especially those with exceptionalities—from the Pre-K to middle school level. He has had over 12 years of experience working with the Handwriting Without Tears® curriculum. As a National Workshop Presenter for Handwriting Without Tears, he has provided numerous presentations on the program to teachers, administrators, students, and parents.
