Sweet Treats

A great way to show appreciation is with easy-to-make and yummy-to-taste goodies like these.

  • Oreo Apple Pops: This super simple, inexpensive and adorable recipe craft is destined to be a hit in the classroom and loved by your appreciated teacher.
    • All it requires is: Mini Oreos, red candy melts, Airheads, pretzel sticks, and toothpicks. Follow the instructions in the link to be on your way to making these treats.
  • Trail Mix Favor: Learn how to make layered-trail mix favors using small or large mason jars that are personalized with fun fabrics. The trail mix looks better if you make your own by buying trail mix staples separately like mini M&Ms, dried fruit and nuts and granola and layering it yourself. It's so easy, you can show your appreciation for the whole class!

Other Ideas

  • Thank You Tote: A perfect, simple way to put your thank you note and appreciation supplies, in one spot. Using a simple tote like, for instance, a plastic shower caddy that can be found at stores like Walmart and Target, separate your goodies with the different compartments. Use ribbon and string to add a personal and cutesy touch.
  • Basket of Puns: If you're a jokester, this is a great way for you and your child to send a light-hearted token of appreciation to your teacher. Put these together in a bundle and let the puns roll. Note: not the best gift for a teacher on a diet.
