Try These Fun Bulletin Board Ideas

It is important to start the school year with a bang, ensuring that students are entertained and motivated on day one. It can be tough finding the perfect bulletin board to set a positive classroom tone, but we found lots of great ideas on Pinterest, Buzzfeed and teacher blogs. Here are our favorite sources:

  1. Pinterest: Find hundreds upon hundreds of back-to-school designs. From traditional and simple to creative and interactive, pins from educators share successful bulletin boards ideas. Try visually stimulating Dr. Seuss quotes, or incorporate popular tech gadgets into a welcoming message. 
  2. The Classroom Creative: Two teachers, dedicated to helping their colleagues succeed, offer back-to-school bulletin board ideas. The list of 40-plus ideas includes social media-inspired boards as well as more general ideas--everything from "Readbox" to a three-dimensional backpack with school supplies pouring out.
