Site Review: A+ Click

Site URLwww.aplusclick.com

Content:  A+ Click offers a set of 4,200 free, challenging math problems for students in grades 1-12. The questions, based on Common Core Standards, focus on understanding, spatial reasoning and problem-solving rather than math rules and theorems. Users can rack up points and compete with same-age peers around the world.

Design:  The site can be difficult for children to navigate, but for adults, it appears pretty straightforward. The homepage consists of grade levels and subjects. Once the user has chosen a subject and grade level, the site presents images, explanations and more.

Review:  This is an easy-to-use and fully-equipped site teachers can present to students in the classroom or encourage them to use at home. It covers a number of different subjects and levels, and students will be engaged by the chance to compete with other children their age. Those who earn enough points get featured on the homepage, which showcases countries such as Singapore, India and others.

Bottom Line:  A+ Click is a great site for motivating students to get some extra math practice.
