College Is Possible - American Council on Education
College Is Possible is devoted to helping families realize the dream of sending kids to college. Included are financial resources for parents, recommended middle and high school courses for students, and college selection resources. Much of the site is also available in Spanish.

The College Board
"Preparing, Inspiring, and Connecting Students to College and Opportunity." Herein lies a wealth of information about thousands of colleges across the country (in detail), admission criteria, statistics, etc. College Board also provides information about SAT courses, products and online registration, financial aid calculators, and even has a SAT "question of the day." To get to the college (or colleges) of your choice, you need to go through the process of picking a major, or a geography (among other options), and basically narrow the search until you find what you need.

Access America for Students
Access America for Students is a U.S. Government initiative to support students by providing easy electronic access to federal agencies and organizations. The site includes resources to help plan for college, find a career, and more.
