"I maintain the site by collaborating with my principal, Dr. Joanne Butler, teacher professionals, youngsters at Walker, and their families. Professional journals are also a tremendous resource."

The influence of professional journals makes particularly the curriculum-related resources on this site both especially robust and up to date. Walker Web Weavers, a student club at the school, also add student-created sites and a "Hey You Book Review," which features student reviews of books. As Julie reports, "This gives the entire student body authentic opportunities to write about the books they have read."

Combined with the relatively easy-to-use navigation and pleasant graphics on the site, Julie's commitment to practicality and academic quality certainly makes this a school site to see.
