2.      Lesson Planning

Education World's Lesson Planning stories offer an assortment of cross-curriculum activities connected to topics of timely interest. In 1999, Lesson Planning stories focused on a couple dozen holidays and celebrations (from Grandparents Day to Valentines Day) and on timely events such as Tornadoes, the Crisis in Kosovo, and even educational activities related to theSuperbowl. Other stories offered fresh approaches for teaching "tired topics" in the classroom, teaching about the newspaper, art lessons on the Internet, and learning about endangered species such as sea turtles, falcons, and the wolf. Special stories offered an understanding of kids who are different; women of accomplishment; and inventors and inventions.

Education professionals are scouring our free listings for jobs, and administrators can browse over 1000 online resumes for possible job applicants! With a new design focused on one-click access to education jobs and educator resumes, listed both by job title and by state, educators have a tremendous resource at their fingertips.
