Internet Headquarters for Student Governments
http://www.umr.edu/~ihsg/
GRADE LEVEL: 9-12

B CONTENT:
The Internet Headquarters for Student Governments was set up so student governments around the world can communicate and interact.

A AESTHETICS:
The site uses a blue border at the left side and faux marble icons. Combined with big spacing the site has an overall business-like appearance.

A ORGANIZATION:
The same menu appears on the left side of each page so users can navigate within the site. The home page marks each of the sections with large graphic buttons. Each page has a link back to the home page.

REVIEW:
This Web site is a place for student governments to meet and exchange ideas. Student governments register at the site. Users can search the database to locate participating schools. The site also has a page that highlights issues important to students such as student apathy and the funding of religious organizations. This is a great resource for student governments to use when discussing topics in their specific meetings as well as getting an idea of what other country student governments are dealing with. History, current events and political science teachers and students could also use this site as a launchpad for discussions.
