REVIEW:
This purpose of this Web site is to discuss a variety of types of architecture and what effect those styles have on our life today. The site has information on architecture from the Aztec, Chinese, Egyptian, Greek, Mayan and Roman civilizations. Other architecture studied are Classical and Cathedrals. Users can take the online multiple choice test or go on a virtual tour of a number of different locations. In the "Architecture Through the Ages" section users learn how cultures built their homes, temples, and cities. While it is definitely a good resource for architecture, teachers of history, art and science could also find useful information here for lesson plans and curriculum supplement.
