REVIEW:
This site was created with the future in mind. The authors assume that a colony on Mars is a possible reality and have designed a project to illustrate all the aspects of such a colony. The colony is named Koinae City and it is divided into six spheres. Each sphere provides a different function. The Operations Sphere is responsible for daily operations such as supplies and communication. The Agricultural Sphere provides food for the colonists. Other spheres include Health and Recreation, Habitat, and Geography. Students can learn about the climate and terrain of Mars. Teachers can use the Habitat and Health and Recreation spheres to teach basic health and social studies lessons while the Agriculture Sphere could supplement science lessons. This is a unique site that presents a lot of information in an entertaining way.
