https://maint.loc.gov/index.html

CONTENT:
This is a wonderful and comprehensive resource for educators who wish to teach African American History

B AESTHETICS:
This is not a fancy site and the (important and useful) graphics for each section can take time to load.

ORGANIZATION:
This site is well organized into chapters along the timeline of African American History.

REVIEW:
This is an exhibit produced by the Library of Congress, and is a very thorough and useful essay on African American History. There is introductory text explaining the contents of this site, and other chapters and sub-chapters such as Colonization, Abolition, Migration, and Work Projects Administration. The site is packed with both low and high resolution scans of historical documents in each area. This is a comprehensive site that relates African American history with a manageable chunk of data that teachers will find very useful.
