Textbook Information Network
http://www.textbook.com/default.asp?
GRADE LEVEL: K-12, Administrators, Professional, Parents

CONTENT:
Are you searching for textbooks but feeling overwhelmed and confused by the process? The Textbook Information Network is a place where you can research and compare the books and products of more than 300 publishers in one easy-to-use location. The site also features chat rooms, a message board, and links to other sites for teachers and homeschoolers.

AESTHETICS:
Bright primary colors plus flashy graphics and animations make this an appealing site.

ORGANIZATION:
This is a frames-only site -- a helpful plus that allows you to visit the various publishers' pages without having to leave the site.

REVIEW:
Here is a one-stop textbook shopping site where you can research what's available from a large selection of textbook publishers, request samples, and even order on-line. Just click on the Publishers Directory and you're off! Links are also provided to other vendors of educational products. The site does not endorse any of the publishers or vendors but does highlight certain publishers each week. To add frosting to the cake, the site also links to two high-quality companion sites: the Teacher Information Network and the Homeschool Haven.
