REVIEW:
The Council of Great City Schools is a strong organization representing some of the largest urban school systems in the United States. The Council shows a clear commitment to school improvement and provides a support base to help make that happen through legislation, special projects, research, and use of the media. The site includes a high-quality newsletter that is well worth reading, research data, press releases, a list of upcoming conferences and events, information about special projects and initiatives sponsored by the council, an impressive array of council resources, and a helpful management services section.
