CONTENT:
The Avalon Project Web site presents important historical, political and legal documents from pre-18th century to present day.

 

AESTHETICS:
Most information is presented as lists of links. The text font and spacing for the documents is large and adequate for online reading.

 

ORGANIZATION:
Users can locate information through the "Major Collections" section, the alphabetical title/author listings, or via the search engine. Documents are categorized on the home page by time period: Pre 18th Century - 20th Century Documents.

 

REVIEW:
The Avalon Project was established by the Yale Law School. This site houses documents relevant to Law, History, Economics, Politics, Diplomacy and Government. Links include introductions, background information, and current events at the time of the documentation. Within the documents are links to other sites and resources mentioned in a document. The search engine enables users to locate specific information. This site is a great find for history buffs, researchers, students, and educators.
