REVIEW:
The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) produces a vast amount of statistical information every year. The materials cover the state of education from pre-k through post grad and include statistics on a wide variety of subjects. The two main publications cataloging this information are the Condition of Education and the Digest of Education Statistics, which can be found by clicking on General Information About NCES on the main page. A list of the most important recent publications is available on the main page. Another listing is available by clicking on Publications in the left-hand navigational bar on the main page. To make finding things less confusing, the site offers a News Flash email notification service that informs you of new publications available on specified topics.
