CONTENT:
Studyabroad.com is a great resource for students who want to study abroad and their parents.
AESTHETICS:
The site is colorful and appealing, with generous margins and nice graphics. Users who have low bandwidth connections may access the "lite" graphics version.
ORGANIZATION:
Each page has a navigation menu at the top, which allows visitors quick access to each part of the site. A site menu and a search feature also facilitate easy access to individual sections.
REVIEW:
This Web site is a one-stop source for information about studying abroad. Users will find thousands of listings for study-abroad programs throughout the world. Viewers also have access to hundreds of links to study-abroad program home pages. The site provides practical knowledge regarding costs, financial aid, travel, lodging, insurance, and medical plans. The Studyabroad.com Handbook provides information about travel agencies and safety advice. Travelers can find data on preferred areas to travel in various countries, along with travel advisories, by clicking on the interactive world map. The site can be searched by academic subject, language, or program. Visitors can also sign up for Studyabroad.com EXPRESS to receive a weekly newsletter with special offers, announcements, and deals designed for students who want to study abroad.
