The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) launched this pilot to its Open CourseWare project. It provides free, searchable access to course materials "for educators in the non-profit sector, students, and individual learners around the world." 10/30/2002

It offers an extensive dictionary with click-able links in the text section explaining the terms as you read through the site. Amazing Space: Out of this world activities!

Amazing Space offers interactive, Web-based activities designed by teachers and staff of the Space Telescope Science Institute located in Baltimore, Maryland. The UN Atlas of the Oceans is a one-stop source for information pertaining to the "sustainable development of the oceans".
