This site was created by the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Concordia University, Quebec, Canada, to encourage Aboriginal youth to stay in school and pursue post-secondary studies in the pure and applied sciences. The Whooping Crane Eastern Partnership: Whooping Crane

This informative and educational site is a joint project of Annenberg/CPB, Journey North, and the Whooping Crane Eastern Partnership. It follows the efforts of a coalition of non-profit organizations, government agencies, and individuals to "bring a migratory flock of whooping cranes back to eastern North America." The team plans to lead a new flock of whooping cranes from Wisconsin to Florida each fall between 2001 and 2005. 04/16/04
