CONTENT:
Odyssey Online leads users on an exploration of Near Eastern, Egyptian, Greek, Roman, and sub-Saharan African cultures.

AESTHETICS:
The site uses appropriate cultural designs and graphics. Users will need the plug-ins for QuickTime, RealAudio, and Shockwave in order to view all the pages.

ORGANIZATION:
Odyssey Online has five sections: Near East, Egypt, Greece, Rome, and Africa. The site features navigation icons at the bottom of the pages.

REVIEW:
Share in the adventure and learn from other cultures with Odyssey Online. Each of the five sections includes information such as People, Mythology, Daily Life, Death & Burial, Writing, and Archaeology of the area. Students will find photos of articles from the Michael C. Carlos Museum, at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and the Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester, in Rochester, New York. Clicking on a picture displays information about the object. This is a good site for report writing. Included are games, puzzles, and audio clips. Teacher resources include suggested activities for the different areas of study.
