REVIEW:
Have your students develop a sense of music history, an understanding of music's influence on society, and an appreciation for different musical styles by completing this online activity. Students research the different musical genres: musical theater, early, new jazz, rock and roll, country & folk, and pop music. Then they design a "land" for MusicLand around the theme. The activities are tied to California standards and include evaluation criteria and extension ideas.
