CONTENT
This game from the U.S. Treasury Department is designed to help children learn about maintaining good credit rating, and about finances in general.
SITE DESIGN
The site’s design will appeal to students. Visitors can navigate by entering the hotel. Instructions for playing the game are available and links to options such as audio and caption on/off are in the right bottom corner of the page. The game also is available in Spanish.

 

REVIEW
Teaching about finances and credit? Have your students check into the Bad Credit Hotel and learn the basics of maintaining good credit. As you explore the hotel, collect inventory markers that acknowledge you have interacted with useful credit information. Collect all the markers and you can unlock room 850, the number for a perfect credit score. Users can skip directly to the information-only pages by following the link at the bottom of the page.
