The Animal Fact Guide is a database of information about interesting and endangered animals around the world.
SITE DESIGN
The site is well designed and easy to navigate. Links to major areas of the site are located in the top navigation bar as well as in the main body of the front page. The site is also fully searchable. Be aware that not all advertisements at the site are appropriate for youngsters.
 

REVIEW
The Animal Fact Guide offers students and teachers information on a wide variety of animals from around the world. Each article features the animals characteristics, a map showing its habitat, and other interesting information, as well as links to additional online resources. Users also can download free PDF files of coloring pages, word searches, mazes, and desktop wallpaper. Included is the Wildlife Blog, where visitors can discuss and share information about animals and view animal photos and videos. The Teacher Tools section features worksheets and WebQuests that encourage students to do online research.
