CONTENT
The UChannel is a Web space that hosts a collection of public affairs lectures, panels, and events, in the form of videos from academic institutions all over the world, for the general public to see and hear. The site is an initiative of Princeton Universitys Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
SITE DESIGN
The main page offers a Tag Cloud of terms that will access the various content categories. The archive can also be searched by keyword. The UChannel content is available in various formats therefore Real Player, Windows Media Player, Flash Player, QuickTime are needed and can be downloaded at the site.
 

REVIEW
The UChannel, also called the University Channel, gives the general public access to videos of lectures and events from all over the world that focus on public and international affairs. There is a long list of contributors such as Harvard University, Duke University, Peking University School of Government, The London School of Economics and Political Science, Vanderbilt University, and many others. Users can choose from the most current listings on the main page, which have recently included How the digital revolution is changing the way we discover, create and consume media," and Statecraft, How to Restore Americas Standing in the World, or choose a topic, contributing school, or multimedia format from the Tag Cloud at the top of the page. Another option is to sign up for any of a number of RSS feeds.
