CONTENT:
PBS Teachers is a comprehensive Pre-K through 12 educator site. It includes thousands of free lesson plans, local and national educator resources, teacher professional development, videos, blogs, and more.
SITE DESIGN:
The site is well-organized and easy to navigate. Standards-based resources can be found at the top navigation bar, which features drop-down menus for further organization. Links to other areas of the site can be found throughout the body of the main page.
 

REVIEW:
PBS Teachers is the portal for all the educational resources and services that PBS offers. Teachers looking for curriculum materials in any subject area or grade level need look no further. This is a one-stop source of standards-based resources as well as information on effective ways to use media and technology in the classroom or home school setting. Free standards-based lesson plans, activities, and multimedia resources are available on a wide range of subject areas and grade levels. The database can be searched by keyword, subject, resource type, and grade level. A link at the bottom of the home page leads to a comprehensive listing of PBS programming. Visitors will also find links to teacher discussions and online professional development courses at PBS Teacherline.
