CONTENT:
This is an online interactive tutorial for learning to search the Internet for the purpose of research.
SITE DESIGN:
Doing Research is designed using Flash technology. Users are presented with a table of contents and can choose to use the tutorial from beginning to end or click on the section of interest to them.
 

REVIEW:
This easy to use tutorial guides users through the initial steps of looking for books and articles on a particular topic in a game-like format. It covers such topics as using the Boolean search term AND, identifying keywords, synonyms and related terms, citations, and putting it all together. Users are taken through interactive activities that explain the concepts. This is a quick and simple way for users of all ages to learn the basics.
