It features over 1100 biographies of accomplished African Americans with messages of leadership, achievement and perseverance. Each person is featured with a photograph, a biography and an archive of photographs from throughout his/her life. Users may nominate their own History Maker by completing the online form. The initial goal of The HistoryMakers is to complete 5,000 interviews of both well-known and unsung African American HistoryMakers within the next five years.
