REVIEW:
LifeWorks offers materials and information for middle and high school students, parents and counselors interested in matching health and medical careers to interest and skills. Users can explore careers from anesthesiologist to microbiologist to veterinarian. Each record contains a summary, job description, education needed, skills, abilities and interest necessary to be successful and more information. A success story of a real life worker is highlighted each day on the main page complete with an interview and more than sixty previous success stories are archived. Additionally, students can explore the section on preparing for college early that provides information for grades 8-12 with links to sites for finding a college, virtual campus tours and student aid. |
