EducaPoles explores the environment of the Polar Regions and climate change. Students will enjoy the interactive comic book "The migration of the Ibanes" that investigates climatic phenomena like floods and their ecological impact, and takes students to the Arctic regions to discover the problems being faced there. Accompanying the comic book is a teachers' file for download that includes background information on climate change and sustainable development, objectives, activities, teaching suggestions and a bibliography. Other teaching resources are available, some in French only. A students' file is also available that contains activities and exercises such as discovering the three dimensions of sustainable development, analysis of various situations , role playing and games. The Fun Zone contains animations, pictures and games that can be used as teaching tools and that cover such topics as Polar flora and fauna, climate and climate change, movements of the earth, Polar nights, the global water cycle, Polar exploration, energy, and sustainable development.
