CONTENT:
The PhysicsFront is a service provided by the American Association of Physics Teachers. It is supported, in part, by the National Science Foundation. It provides "high quality resources tailored for the teaching of high school physics and physical sciences." Included are lessons, labs, activities, and assessments.
SITE DESIGN:
The site is well-organized and materials can be found by clicking on any of the four main categories listed in the top navigation bar. A site map and a search tool are also available. The search tool offers the ability to search by subject, category, type of resource, grade level, and more. Although anyone may search the database, participation requires the user to register an account, which is free and requires only a name and an e-mail address.

REVIEW:
The PhysicsFront is a web-based area for teachers of conceptual, AP, and algebra-based physics, Physics First, and physical science. The materials have been selected as quality resources for enriching the high school physics experience. The resources are grouped into several categories, including conceptual physics, algebra-based physics, AP/calculus-based physics, Physics First, and physical science. Included are hundreds of lesson plans, labs, and activities that cover a wide range of topics such as measurement, motion, forces, momentum, energy, heat and temperature, magnetism, circuits, wave energy, electrostatics, electricity, and astronomy. Additionally, a section for new teachers offers an encouraging introduction with recommendations for success in the classroom.
