REVIEW:
The Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL) is a private non-profit
organization made up of scholars and educators "who use the
findings of linguistics and related sciences in identifying and
addressing language-related problems." The resources at this
site are of particular interest to educators and policy-makers alike.
Among the topics of interest are adult ESL literacy, dialects and
