CONTENT:
The SMILE website is hosted by the Illinois Institute of Technology and is a rich resource of lesson plans for biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics.
SITE DESIGN:
The site has a very simple format with the four main areas listed on the main page and in the left side menu. Other quick links are also located in the left side menu. Lesson plans in each section are grouped by theme and listed as an index.

REVIEW:
The SMILE Program was started in 1986 and the single concept lesson plans are a result of the workshops and classes that have been conducted over the years. This is a great place to find supplemental lesson plans for reteaching concepts in math, biology, chemistry, or physics. Lessons span important concepts that are taught at the elementary and high school level. Users will also find lessons that have been contributed by teachers other than those in the program, as well as information on how to organize a "bridge building contest" for their own school.
