National Student/Parent Mock Election
Young people and parents participate in the election process online.

CONTENT:
This site sponsors a Mock Election Day, to help students learn about the election process. The site claims to be the "nation's largest voter education project." The registration is free and open to individuals, schools, and school districts.
SITE DESIGN:
This site has a simple layout with a menu bar at the top of each page that directs users to the various areas. Internal pages have a navigation menu on the left side.
 

REVIEW:
Involve your students in the election process by enrolling them in the National Student/Parent Mock Election. The site aims to "make students and parents aware of the power of their ballot by actively involving them in a full-fledged campaign and national election." The National Student/Parent Mock Election is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that is run by a national network of volunteers ranging from the League of Women Voters to educators, public officials, and newspaper-in-education coordinators. Resources at the site include information on how to participate and curriculum guides for all grade levels, as well as curricula written by schools/school districts participating in the mock election.
