REVIEW:
"Think you know all about hippos? Think again! NATURE'S 'Hippo Beach' will have you seeing these heavyweight creatures in a different light!" exclaims the site's introduction. This interesting site will answer any questions you may have ever had about hippos. Visitors to the site can view great photos and video clips from the television show, read for information, go behind the scenes for an interview with the filmmaker, download free wallpaper for the computer, or experience a multimedia "Hippo Quest". Teachers will appreciate the interdisciplinary lesson plan for grades 3-5 that guides students in researching and creating presentations on hippos. The lessons are aligned with national content standards for science and language arts and provide a teacher's guide, graphic organizers and related resources.
