REVIEW:
Reading Online is divided into six sections: Articles, International Perspectives, Electronic Classroom, New Literacies, Online Communities, and From Years Past. Each of the sections are of practical interest to K-12 educators involved in literacy instruction with topics that range from early literacy to literacy research, to new developments in the field to educational applications of technology relevant to reading and writing instruction. It is the mission of the site to "support professionals as they integrate technology in the classroom, preparing students for a future in which literacy's meaning will continue to evolve and expand." All articles are submitted to the site by literacy professionals and are peer reviewed before publication. Visitors to the site can read the most current articles as well as the archived articles from 1997 to present.
