	CONTENT: This informative and educational site examines milkweed plants in a backyard habitat garden to learn about the diversity of life that the plants support. Included are activities and teaching suggestions.
	AESTHETICS: The site is well designed with high quality photos and plenty of white space that keep the pages neat and easily read. QuickTime is needed to view the movie.
	ORGANIZATION: Navigation through the site is easy. Links are displayed on the main page to the key features and links embedded in the text lead users to more information.
	REVIEW: When we think of habitats we usually think of large spaces rather than a single plant. "Individual plants can also be home to many animals," as this site demonstrates in exploring the milkweed plant. The different animals such as the Milkweed Tiger Moth & caterpillar, Harvestmen, Slug, Aphids, and Milkweed Bug that thrive on the plants are examined. The metamorphosis of the monarch caterpillar is shown in pictures and a movie. Also offered are online crossword and word search puzzles, a true/false quiz, comparing and contrasting exercises, and a worksheet that facilitates the student's exploration of the site. The resource page provides both web based and print resources for students to extend their studies.
