REVIEW:
This site is designed for parents to use with their children, but many of the activities
here could also be done in the classroom. Toys are grouped into several categories
according to the scientific topic addressed. Topics include magnetism, electromagnetism,
electrochemistry, radio, thermodynamics, aerodynamics, light and optics, biology, mathematics, and computers and electronics.
Each toy idea includes easy-to-follow directions, a list of required materials, and an explanation of the scientific principle. Most of these toys can be made
in a few minutes from simple household materials.
