REVIEW:
The resources for this site are taken from the museum's exhibition catalog. Visitors will want to begin with the introductory essay about the artist and the exhibit. The Gallery Highlights feature the drawings of da Vinci, whose style and technique can be examined closely by clicking on the images in order to zoom in on the drawings. Visitors to the site will also find a discussion of the artist's left-handedness, a catalogue excerpt, and images from the exhibition, a chronology of Leonardo's life and work, masterpieces from the collection on display in the exhibition, and can listen to clips from the exhibition's audio guide. Included are a bibliography and a checklist of the works on view. This is a great resource for art teachers and students who wish to learn more about one of the most well know artists of all time.
