REVIEW: This collection of online interactive maps and free software downloads is a great resource for teachers and parents. These are fun educational games that "help students learn basic aspects of geography, so that the information on reference maps becomes useful." The interactive online maps show borders, countries and capitals. Downloads are puzzle type games that can be played by one or more students. A few of the titles offered are "U.S. States and Capitals Map Puzzle" "U.S. Features Map Puzzle" "Canada Provinces, Territories and Capitals Map Puzzle" "Continents Map Puzzle" "World Features Map Puzzle" and "World Monuments Map Puzzle." In addition to the online maps and the puzzle games there are outline maps that can be printed out. Suggestions for using Maps That Teach are also included.
