REVIEW:
Kids can get their creative juices flowing at the Arts Workshop! The informational feature, Focus on Sculpture, introduces students to this art form and the people who create it as well as the materials and methods they use. Students can exercise their own creativity by producing an online multimedia puppet show. "Each step in this activity focuses on a different element of a dramatic production," as the site instructs: antagonist and protagonist, story, cast, set, music, and choreography. Teacher tips are included with curricular connections and instructions. Make it at Home offers fun activities to try with your family, such as making musical instruments and then having a neighborhood jam session, or creating family plays.
