CONTENT: This site, courtesy of Home Office Mall, provides full, illustrated text of children's stories, some classics as well as stories in several different categories of interest to children.
AESTHETICS: Bedtime Stories has a very simple layout, although it is a little cluttered. Stories are presented with illustrations and easily read text.
ORGANIZATION: The stories are listed in thirteen categories, all in an index on the main page of the site. Each of the pages link back to the homepage.
REVIEW: Bedtime Stories was created for busy parents who want to spend quality time reading with their children, and yet, the whimsical stories will appeal to the child in all of us. From the classics such as "Alice in Wonderland," "The Owl and the Pussycat," and "The Little Lame Prince," to stories about kids and their pets, dragons, bears, monsters, and much more, this site offers full, illustrated text online to be read to children. Some of the stories contain music as well as illustrations, and there is a preview section that gives a synopsis of the story and the recommended age level as well as background information.
