CONTENT:
This site provides "information and tools designed to help us redefine literacy for the 21st century." It's a rich resource that teachers can use to incorporate the Internet into the curriculum in a meaningful way.
AESTHETICS:
Landmarks for Schools uses small, colorful graphics to provide resources and useful tools for teachers.
ORGANIZATION:
Links to each of the main areas of the site are displayed on the main page. The Library of Links is organized into several areas and links to the Landmark tools can be found on the right side of the page and at the top.
REVIEW:
Landmarks for Schools is a rich resource for the wired teacher of any grade level. First, the site provides educational resources in the Library of Links. Resources are grouped into many categories, including science, social studies, images, and other media. Some nifty, free Web tools are also available on the site. Teachers and students can use the tools to create a rubric, produce a properly formatted bibliography, browse classroom blogs, and more.
