REVIEW:
The Mark Twain house in Hartford, Connecticut, was home to the noted American writer while he wrote some of his most famous works. Information on upcoming events at the house and membership information are available, but the areas most useful to teachers and students are The Man and His House, Just for Kids, and Teaching Twain. Visitors to the site can read about the house, which has one of the few remaining Tiffany-designed interiors, and take a virtual tour or view the timeline of Twain's life in Connecticut. There are printable activities for kids and a sample elementary lesson plan available.
