"Totally Monster" Apps Launch for "Get Caught Reading Month"

In celebration of "Get Caught Reading Month," Silver Dolphin Books and Skyreader Media, Inc. have partnered to launch three new interactive apps and e-books. The program, based on Silver Dolphin Books' popular Totally Monster series, teaches kids age 5 and under good manners, the importance of friendship, how to express their feelings and more in a fun, interactive way.

Skyreader Media developed the apps and interactive e-books, which cost 99 cents each and are available on smartphones and tablets with bold colors, fun animations, great audio and plenty of interactive play.

The monsters in the app series introduce young readers to different, everyday situations. In the first app, Totally Monster: Best Friends, two monsters reinforce the message of what it means to have and be a best friend. It reiterates how best friends stick together through everything, and through fun adventures, children learn how great it is to have a best friend.

In the second app, Totally Monster: Feelings, children learn that monsters, like humans, can be sad and have good or bad days. Young children, the app teaches, need to learn how to identify and express their emotions with the monsters in this imaginative book.

In the last app, Totally Monster: Manners, kids learn that it is important to have good manners. Children can watch as the monsters learn how to be polite, help out, make friends and play nicely together.
