Tech in the Classroom: RenWeb School Management Software

What is it?  RenWeb is a school management system that can be used to organize and store important school information including contact info, grading, progress reports and parent communications. It’s intended as an all-in-one system for managing school operations and communications.

How does it work?  Boasting 185 features, RenWeb can be used to manage many school operations, streamlining systems including cafeteria operations and student information management. It’s a Web-based system that can be accessed from anywhere, making it possible for teachers to upload grades and complete other operations from home as well as school.

How hard is it to use?  RenWeb offers a lot of features, perhaps more than an average school needs. The good news—you can pick and choose which features to use. The bad news—users report that the site ca

n be slow to load.

How well does it work?  The load time limitation may make it a challenge to use all the features. There is a desktop application available in addition to the Web-based one, although the desktop version is for PCs only, with no Mac version available.

How do I use it in the classroom? Use it to manage student information, grading, parent communications, and more.
