What does it promise?  A complete interactive history experience for early elementary students.

revereDoes it deliver? Filled with interactivity, animations, stunning visuals, word-class music and thematic mini-games, Ansel and Clair Ride with Paul Revere is a great way to introduce younger students to history. Exciting features include a fun Who’s Who Photobooth and the ability to type notes in a Travel Log.

Educators can assess content retention with a handy pop-up quiz feature. Students can visualize aspects of Revere’s ride via integrated maps that show locations in New England where the events took place. Kids also can have fun with the popular 18th-century rebus puzzles, and hear a rendition of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s “Midnight Ride by Paul Revere” poem. The app contains licensed art from museums, original period music and much more.

Can I use it in my classroom?  This is a perfect way to introduce early elementary students to both app use and American History.
